Home is the main screen. It puts what needs you at the top, then the widgets you choose. Each team member has their own Home unless the owner or an admin locks their role's layout. Home is on every plan.
The top of Home
- AutoPilot briefing: three figures plus a short line on what needs you today. The figures are Overdue (the amount overdue), Waiting on a reply (proposals) and To sign (contracts waiting for your signature). When a figure is above zero, select it to open its list. You only see figures for what your access allows. Turn the briefing off in Customize and the figures go too.
- Ask AutoPilot: the Ask bar, with the hint Ask about your business, or tell AutoPilot what to do, and suggested questions such as Plan my day, Why are expenses up?, Who pays late? and Draft an invoice. On a phone, tap the floating Ask button instead. AutoPilot asks before changing anything. Asking uses your workspace's AI usage.
When nothing is waiting, Home says so: no overdue invoices, no proposals waiting on a reply, nothing late.
Widgets
Below the top, Home shows widgets. Needs your attention lists overdue invoices, proposals, contracts and requests waiting on you, plus overdue tasks and unbilled time. Today shows today's events, tasks and reminders, with what's next.
You can add more from these groups:
- From the new Home: Money (revenue, expenses and profit month by month), Coming in (payments due in the next 30 days and who usually pays late), Tasks, This week, Where money went and Projects.
- Work: Timesheet (hours this week and what isn't billed yet), Reminders, Week agenda, Task progress, Focus area, Notes and Project health.
- The Money group: Pipeline (proposals by stage and what's won), Invoicing overview, Business insights, Recurring revenue and retainers, Profit and expenses, Revenue breakdown and Expenses breakdown.
- Inventory: Inventory overview, Low stock alerts, Inventory health and Top movers.
Only widgets you have access to are listed, so a teammate without access to invoices doesn't see money widgets.
Customize your Home
Choose Customize on Home (an icon on phones), or go to Settings, Appearance, Customize Dashboard. On the web and a tablet you edit Home in place; on a phone, Customize Home opens. Web and tablet and phones each keep their own layout.
- On the web and a tablet: drag a widget by its handle to reorder it. Select a widget to resize or remove it. Add widget opens the gallery, with group chips and Search widgets.
- On a phone: under On top, switch the AutoPilot briefing and Ask AutoPilot on or off. Drag widgets by their handle under Your widgets, use each widget's switch to show or hide it, and find the rest under Not on your Home.
Changes are not saved until you choose Done (web and tablet) or Save (phone); Home layout saved confirms it. Reset to default puts back your role's layout in the editor, and you still save. Cancel or Discard throws the changes away. Each teammate picks their own layout unless the role is locked. If you're offline, the layout is saved on your device and syncs once you're back online.
Set the Home each role starts with
The owner and admins can set the Home each role starts with under Home layouts, on the Team members screen. Choose Edit layout on a role. People only see the widgets their access allows. Saving reaches everyone who hasn't changed their own Home, and Apply to everyone also replaces layouts people already changed.
Turn off People with this role can change their own Home to lock a role's layout; the role then shows Locked. A member whose Home is locked sees Your Home is set by your workspace. Ask an admin to change it. when they try to customize. Admins can't be locked: the owner and admins start from the Admin layout and can always change their own Home.
