Workspace369 is an official app in ChatGPT: built and maintained by Workspace369, reviewed and approved by OpenAI, and published in ChatGPT on October 30, 2026. ChatGPT shows it as the Workspace369 plugin. It runs on the Workspace369 MCP server, so it has the same tools, permission checks and limits as any other connected AI app.

It can take a little while for Workspace369 to show for everyone in ChatGPT. If you don't see it yet, connect the same server by its URL instead (see If Workspace369 doesn't show in ChatGPT).

Before you begin

  • The workspace owner or an admin turns on AI connections: open Settings, then under AI choose AI connections and turn on Allow AI connections. If you started the trial, you are the owner. See Enable MCP and manage connected apps.
  • You sign in with your Workspace369 email and password. If you normally sign in with Google or Apple, set a password first: open Settings, then your account page, and choose Reset password by email.
  • If your account uses two-factor authentication, keep your phone nearby for the code.
  • It works on every plan, from Cadet to Enterprise. Successful requests count toward the workspace's monthly AI usage; a few tools, such as checking an approval, are free.

Connect Workspace369 in ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, find Workspace369 and connect it.
  2. ChatGPT opens the Workspace369 sign-in page. Sign in with your Workspace369 email and password, and enter your two-factor code if asked. The page is served by Workspace369, so ChatGPT never sees your password.
  3. Choose the workspace.
  4. Review the permissions and set a level for each area, such as Clients or Invoices, from None to full access.
  5. Choose Approve access.
  6. Ask ChatGPT something about your work, such as "Which clients owe me money this month?"

When a member connects an AI app, the workspace owner is notified.

What it can do

ChatGPT works inside your workspace with your own permissions and only the areas and levels you approved. It can look up clients and their history, draft proposals and invoices with real line items, create and update projects and tasks, check availability and schedule events, log time and expenses, record payments, look through your inbox, search your knowledge base, and list and schedule follow-ups. Every tool is listed in the MCP tools reference.

What waits for your approval

Anything that sends something to a client, such as an invoice, proposal, contract or message, waits for your approval in Workspace369. The person who made the connection can turn on Send without asking for it; it is off until they do. See How MCP access is controlled and billed.

Change or remove the connection

Disconnect ChatGPT at any time in Settings, under AI connections. To change the levels you approved, disconnect and connect again.

If Workspace369 doesn't show in ChatGPT

Connect the same server by its URL. It gives you the same tools and the same approval rules:

https://mcp.workspace369.com/mcp

Follow Connect an AI app to your workspace for the steps.

Using Claude or another AI app?

The Workspace369 app in ChatGPT is for ChatGPT. Claude, Cursor, Windsurf and other apps that support MCP connect to the same server with the URL above. See Connect AI apps with MCP.
