# Connect Claude to Workspace369

> Add Workspace369 to Claude on the web, Claude Desktop or Claude Code as a custom connector, sign in, and set up your CRM with the set_up_my_crm prompt.

- Product: Workspace369
- Documentation version: 2026.3
- Section: AI connections
- Last updated: 2026-11-02

---

Claude connects to Workspace369 through the Workspace369 MCP server. You add it once as a custom connector, sign in to Workspace369, and Claude can then read and update your clients, pipeline, follow-ups, proposals, invoices and tasks, always within your own permissions.

No workspace yet? [Start a free trial](https://app.workspace369.com/signup?utm_source=docs-connect-claude-to-workspace369&utm_medium=docs_page&utm_campaign=ai-builders-crm&next=ai-connections). Then make sure **Allow AI connections** is on under **Settings → AI → AI connections**.

## Choose the server URL

| URL | What Claude gets |
| --- | --- |
| `https://mcp.workspace369.com/mcp` | Every Workspace369 tool, including inbox, calendar and sends that wait for your approval. |
| `https://mcp.workspace369.com/mcp/crm` | Only the core CRM tools, with nothing that sends to a client. See [Connect the core CRM toolset](/v/2026.3/ai-connections/connect-the-core-crm-toolset/). |

## Claude on the web and Claude Desktop

Connectors you add in Claude are tied to your Claude account, so a connector added on the web also appears in Claude Desktop.

### Pro and Max

1. In Claude, go to **Customize → Connectors**.
2. Choose **+ Add**, then **Add custom connector**.
3. Name it Workspace369 and paste one of the server URLs above.
4. Choose a sign-in option under **Authentication**. Under **OAuth client**, keep **Use Claude's published identity (Recommended)**. Leave **Request headers** empty.
5. Save, then choose **Connect**. The Workspace369 sign-in page opens.
6. Sign in, choose the workspace, review the permissions and choose **Approve access**. The steps are the same for every app: see [Approve the connection](/v/2026.3/ai-connections/connect-an-ai-app-to-your-workspace/#approve-the-connection).

Free Claude accounts can add one custom connector.

### Team and Enterprise

An owner of the Claude organization, or on Enterprise a member with a role that can manage connectors, adds the connector once:

1. Go to **Organization settings → Connectors**.
2. Choose **Add**, hover over **Custom**, and choose **Web**.
3. Enter the name and server URL, choose **Continue**, review the sign-in settings, choose **Continue**, then **Add**.

Each member then goes to **Customize → Connectors**, finds Workspace369 (labeled **Custom**), and chooses **Connect**. Every member signs in to Workspace369 with their own account, so Claude only reaches what that person can reach.

### Use it in a chat

Choose **+** at the lower left of the message box, then **Connectors**, and turn Workspace369 on for the conversation.

## Claude Code

Add the server from your terminal, then sign in:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http workspace369 https://mcp.workspace369.com/mcp
```

Run `/mcp` inside Claude Code, choose workspace369 and follow the sign-in. For a script that can't open a browser, use a [personal access token](/v/2026.3/ai-connections/personal-access-tokens/) instead.

## Set up your CRM

In a new workspace, start with the **set_up_my_crm** prompt. Ask Claude to use it, or just say: "Set up my CRM in Workspace369 for my business." Claude proposes pipeline stages and client fields, shows you a preview, and writes nothing until you say yes.

Then try:

- "Import my clients from this spreadsheet." (the **import_my_clients** prompt)
- "Review my pipeline for this week." (the **weekly_pipeline_review** prompt)
- "Who should I follow up with today?"

## Change or remove the connection

To change the URL, remove the connector in **Customize → Connectors** and add it again. To end access from the Workspace369 side, open **Settings → AI → AI connections**, find Claude under **Your AI apps** in **Your connections**, and choose **Disconnect**.

If the connection fails, see [Fix AI app connection problems](/v/2026.3/ai-connections/fix-ai-app-connection-problems/).
